Public consultation opens to bitter disappointment at exclusion of important areas due to ‘economic cost’
The long-awaited consultation on the next stages of Marine Conservation Zone designation in English and non devolved waters is launched today. But with only 23 out of a possible 37 sites included, The Wildlife Trusts are frustrated at the lack of ambition shown by the Government.

Tees Valley Wildlife runs week of FREE family-friendly hands on events across the Tees Valley.

The new Tees Valley Wildlife Trust project ‘Wild Green Places’ is starting as it means to go on with a half term week packed with a series of family-friendly events running right across the Tees Valley.

Tees Valley Wildlife Trust wins Heritage Lottery Fund support for regional bat project

Today, The Tees Valley Wildlife Trust are announcing today a new initiative that will involve community groups, volunteers and young people in making East Cleveland a better place for bats.
The Tees Valley Wildlife Trust has received a confirmed grant of £45,300 from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) and a further £5,000 funding from Northumbrian Water’s Branch Out Fund for the East Cleveland Batscape Project
