We're currently seeking volunteer wardens across all 14 of our Tees Valley nature reserves.

Being a volunteer warden involves:

  • Regular visits to a dedicated reserve (chosen by you) to monitor the site, report issues, track changes, and support habitat management
  • Represent the Trust by interacting with visitors whilst on site and encouraging interest in local wildlife
  • Assist with surveying by annually reporting the conditions of gates, stiles, paths and other infrastructure on site
  • Support the conservation team in site maintenance
  • Litter picking and reporting fly tipping

This is a flexible role, allowing you to carry out regular visits to your chosen reserve at any day or time convenient to you.
