Working in partnership with North Yorkshire Forest School Training, Tees Valley Wildlife Trust delivers Coastal School Leader training for those looking to take the Forest School approach into coastal environments.

Course: NOCN Level 3 Coastal School Leader

This course builds the skills and confidence to plan and lead engaging, outdoor learning sessions for children and young people along the coast.

You’ll explore:

  • Coastal ecosystems, including ecology, weather and tides
  • Managing risk in dynamic environments
  • Activities to inspire play, learning and exploration
  • Planning and evaluating Coastal School sessions
