18th January 2018, 10:00am1:00pm

Starting at the former Margrove School, which is now the Trust’s headquarters, we will first delve into people’s memories of nature tables, nature walks and favourite nature books before setting off to explore stories and memories of childhood fun and games in the Margrove Valley by listening to excerpts from oral history recordings. The walk will explore how the countryside has changed using maps and archive images. Participants will be tasked with recording the wildlife seen and collecting material for their very own nature table.
Please dress warmly and appropriately for being outdoors in the winter and wear appropriate footwear. Footpaths may be wet and muddy. Bring a hot drink and a snack and don’t forget your camera.
