We will be looking for Common and Nathusius pipistrelles along the East Cleveland coastline. This walk starts off earlier than when bats start to fly so we can appreciate the wonderful views of the East Cleveland coastline. We will walk from the Ship Inn car Park up to Huntcliff so there is a steep incline intially but this graduates out. Take in the beautiful views of the East Cleveland coastline, looking all the way across Teesside. We will walk out to Guibal Fanhouse on Warsett Hill and back again.

The Nathusius pipistrelle is the Uk's only migratory bat species and is very under recroded. It has yet to be recorded in the Tees Valley and Cleveland areas
