East Cleveland Landscape History Workshop

This workshop, funded by National Lottery and delivered with the help of Tees Archaeology, will explore the shaping of the local landscape and its subsequent landscape history.  Practical hands on sessions will explore local geology; landscape history through maps, aerial photos and archaeological records; case studies based on local archaeological sites; and consider changing agricultural practices and the effects of landscape change on local wildlife.
