East Cleveland Landscape History Workshop

This workshop, funded by National Lottery and delivered with the help of Tees Archaeology, will explore the shaping of the land and the landscape history of the local area.  Practical hands on sessions will include: geology; landscape history through maps, aerial photography and archaeological records; case studies based on local archaeological sites; and consideration of changing farming practices and the effects of landscape change on local wildlife.
