10th June 2024, 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Join local botanist Martin Allen for a wildlife walk around Bonny Grove Nature Reserve, a site of old wet pasture surrounded by woodland in the upper reaches of the Marton West Beck tributary.
Recent work has been carried out by volunteers and staff from Tees Valley Wildlife Trust to tackle encroaching scrub and restore neutral grasslands rich in wildflowers. The broadleaved woodlands are species-rich and contain the odd veteran tree that provides a link to past land usage on the site.
For all those wanting to join us on this wildlife walk please email [email protected] as spaces are limited.
