Join local botanist Colin Conroy to discover the history and wildlife of Middlesbrough’s newest nature reserve.

Middle Marsh was a ‘brownfield site’ as recently as 2020, only being designated as a Local Wildlife Site on the 22nd of December 2020.

Only 19 acres in size, the reserve has a surprising variety of habitats from meadows and woodland, to wetland habitats including scrapes, ponds and a tidal beck.
