Join local botanist Martin Allen for a wildlife walk around Teessaurus Park.

Once at the centre of Middlesbrough’s iron and steel industry, land reclamation of the area eventually created ideal conditions for colonisation by specialised grassland species.

The centre mound of Teessaurus Park was created using waste steelworks slag substrates that support species usually found in limestone grasslands.
