A well managed hedgerow provides food and shelter throughout the year for numerous animals, from birds that eat the berries and nest in the branches, to bees and butterflies that drink nectar from the flowers. Hedges also provide safe passage for hedgehogs that travel through the base of the hedge.

This Climate Action Middlesbrough event aims to fill in the gaps of the perimeter hedge that runs around Linthorpe Cemetery, further enhancing this valuable wildlife corridor.

Booking is essential as places are limited, to book please contact Ian Wilson via email at iwilson@teeswildlife.org.

This event is suitable for families and children as this much loved green space offers a safe place for people to explore and reconnect with nature.
