Ironstone Mining Heritage

Discover more about the former ironstone mining industry in East Cleveland, with particular reference to mines and communities in Skinningrove and Liverton Mines. There will also be reference to the active steel works at Carlin How. A short section of the walk will be on the Cleveland Way National Trail. This walk takes around 3.5 hours and will be led by a local historian.
