Skinningrove Valley Memory Walk

Join us on a childhood memory project as part of our Heritage Lottery Funded project; Where the Wild Things Were. 

Starting at the carpark we will take a circular walk around the Skinnigrove Valley exploring memories of childhood adventure and exploration.  Discover: why the  "Grovers" were the most feared gang in the Loftus area;  childhood life in an active mining community, cliff adventures and how to avoid the local bobby.  Changes to the local scenery will be explored through archive photographs and maps.
