This expert led walk will explore the summer elements of Hagg Wood as part of an annual programme of events to explore seasonal changes in ancient woodlands. Hagg Wood is dominated by over mature hazel copppices with oak, ash and cherry stands. It contains a rich and diverse ground flora of grasses and mosses.  Participants will be encouraged to take photos, make sketches and other observations to contribute to a collective digital diary of a year in this ancient wood.
