Naturally Native – Riparian Mammal Monitoring
Trail cameras provide a fantastic opportunity to monitor mammals and understand their behavior better. Learn how to use your trail cameras to help inform future conservation efforts across the North East. Monitoring by water courses can throw up some additional challenges so this session will provide guidance and advice on how to get the best out of your trail camera and overcome some obstacles of monitoring riparian mammals.
If you don’t have your own trail camera there is an opportunity to take part in our camera loan scheme following the training.
This event is part of Naturally Native – a partnership project between Durham, Northumberland and Tees Valley Wildlife Trust – with thanks to funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
