Managing and Improving Sites for Wildlife

  • Habitat management – Practical work to maintain or enhance wildlife habitats on the Trust’s land, local authority sites, farmland, industrial sites or in school grounds.
  • Access work – Constructing or maintaining paths, gates, fences, parking areas and signage which enables people to get safe access to enjoy wildlife / natural environments.
  • Management of geological heritage – Clearing rock faces and tidying up geological features so they remain visible for educational and scientific purposes.
