For anyone interested in helping survey and monitor for water voles across the North East.

With thanks to players of the National Lottery, our Naturally Native Team will be working across the North East to halt the decline and aid the recovery of Britain’s fastest declining mammal: the water vole.  We are looking for volunteers to help survey new sites for water voles or monitor their local water courses over the next few years.  To find out more and start your vole-unteer journey join the Naturally Native Team for an online talk and Q&A.

Please note that this is an online event. To reserve your place, click here

Following this event, attendees will be offered the opportunity to book onto an outdoors survey training session which will be delivered in line with the latest Covid regulations.

This is a partnership project between Durham, Tees Valley and Northumberland Wildlife Trust funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.  To find out more about the Naturally Native project visit our webpage  or follow us on facebook: Naturally Native | Facebook
